"A triumphant example of cooperation among a church and city and county agencies, El Cerrito Royale- a congregate residence for the frail but healthy elderly,…offers many of the amenities that are found in privately developed, upscale projects, including a beauty parlor, entertainment lounge, snack bar and appointed dining room." - Restaurant/Hotel International Magazine about El Cerrito Royale, a Senior Living project featured here

El Cerrito Royal, was so uncharacteristic of a typical, let alone subsidized project that it was written up in a hospitality magazine due to the architect's attention to incorporating state-of-the -art services along with hospitality styled amenities in all their Senior Living projects. From Mission style architecture complete with courtyard and fountains to Bay Area vernacular designed facades complete with bay windows, each project is designed with its own unique sense of place.

In addition to Senior Living the firm has experience in all facets of Care Facilities including projects that incorporate integral critical care systems, requiring OSHPD approval, to carefully designed facilities that meet the needs of individuals with Alzheimer's, to creative housing solutions that facilitate the rehabilitation of the homeless.

As Principal, Lisa Pendleton, AIA explains, "It is our goal to design projects that meet the special needs of individuals without it feeling institutional, a respectful environment where residents and guests feel welcome."
