KAILUA VILLAGE

LOCATION: Kona, HI

OWNER: KPC Villages, LLC

This mixed-use, timeshare resort is the first for this exotic location on the West side of the big island. This project honors classic Hawaiian architecture while bringing state-of-the-art architectural amenities and details to this remote location. The 5 story, concrete project of 64 timeshare units and 12,000 square feet of retail space, features Hawaiian themes throughout the modern design, including traditional pitched roofs of standing seam metal, expansive balconies with patterned metal and glass rails and a stone building base that sets the tone for the indoor/outdoor concept of the design.

Each unit has its own private entry off the exterior walkways on the inland side and large private balconies with full width accordion glass doors on the ocean side, allowing for flow through tropical breezes and uninterrupted spectacular views. Also incorporated in the 2 and 1 bedroom designs are large master suites with Jacuzzi tubs, full kitchens and extra sleeping area lofts at the top level units. A zero edge pool and spa set in natural stone along with an adjacent barbeque area, open air bar and outdoor lounge further enhance the tropical resort ambiance.
